Nurse Practitioner Awarded the Collen Anderson Excellence in Cancer Care Award

Minnesota Oncology Nurse Practitioner, Akia Smith, was recently awarded the Collen Anderson Excellence in Cancer Care Award by the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance. 

This award is based on nominations by friends, family, colleagues and patients. Akia, we are privileged to work with you and proud of the care you provide to your patients.

Akia will be presenting at the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance Living Well Virtual seminar on Wednesday, January 26 from 7:00 - 8:00pm. Akia will be discussing Managing Side Effects of Chemotherapy and Maintenance Therapy for Ovarian Cancer Patients.
